Dress Code

Alta Uniforms
Since August 25, 1997, school uniforms have been required at Alta School.   The following clothing items are acceptable for school wear:

Pants/Shorts:  Boys/Girls
Color:  Navy Blue/Khaki (solid color)
Fabric:  Twill or cotton blend, corduroy (students MAY NOT WEAR LEVI'S OR JEANS)
Note:  Pants must fit at the waist and not be more than one size too large or one size too small.  Skorts and culottes are acceptable for girls.

Shirts/Blouses:  Boys/Girls
Color:  Navy Blue/Red/White (solid color only)
Style:  Polo, oxford, turtleneck
Note:  All shirts/blouses must be tucked in.  All shirts must have a collar and sleeves.  Alta Eagle t-shirts may be worn every day, but especially on Fridays for Alta Red Day.

Skirts/Jumpers:  Girls
Color:  Navy Blue/Khaki (solid color only)
Note:  Leggings and tights are acceptable under skirts, shorts culottes and jumpers in navy and white only.

Sweaters/Sweatshirts
Color:  Solid color navy, white, or red
Note:  Alta Eagle sweatshirts may be worn any day.
PARENTS:  You might have clothing at home that matches the uniform requirement.  If you do, there is no need to purchase new clothes for your child.  However, the clothes your child wears to school must match the uniform standard.
