Co-Curricular

Alta Elementary School provides co-curricular opportunities  for students that will compliment their academic experience.  A sample of co-curricular activities includes athletics, clubs, KC Showcase, GATE, Oral Interpretation, and student leadership.

ATHLETIC POLICY 3RD – 5TH GRADES

Alta School offers two sports for 3rd through 5th grade students. They may participate in Cross Country in the fall and Track in the spring. If your child is eligible to participate, he/she will be expected to display appropriate behavior and maintain academic eligibility. If a student receives a Major Office Discipline Referral or three ore more Minor Office Discipline Referrals due to academic or behavioral issues, the coach and/or the principal may remove the student from the team.
