About
Alta Elementary School opened in 1955 at its current site and is situated midway between Reedley and Orange Cove. The school serves approximately 374 students in grades K-5 during the 2024-2025 school year and includes a staff of 18 teachers. Alta Elementary School teachers and staff are dedicated to ensuring the academic success of every student and providing a safe and productive learning experience. In the fall of 2020, Alta Elementary School launched a Spanish Dual Immersion Program in kindergarten. Currently this school year, we have grades K-4th enrolled in Dual Immersion Instruction.
